Anesthesia

Nurse anesthetist preparing for an injection inside the operating roomOur certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthetic care for patients from initial evaluation to discharge. They consult with patients to provide a personalized pain-management plan during and after surgery or other medical procedures.

While some pain is common after surgery, modern pain medications and anesthesia can minimize post-surgical pain and discomfort. Well-controlled pain using pain medications can speed healing and lead to fewer complications after surgery. Types of pain medication and anesthesia offered include:

  • General
  • Sedation
  • Spinal
  • Epidural
  • Labor Epidural
  • Invasive and non-invasive pain relief techniques
  • Intrathecal pain relief techniques
  • Patient-controlled analgesia (pain killers)
