Your donation to the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Fund directly supports local cancer screening and awareness efforts, helping those affected by cancer right here in Brookings. 

You may also get involved and inspire others to make an impact on local cancer efforts by creating a fundraiser.

Through our partnership with the Dacotah Bank Center, funds are used locally to promote the benefits of cancer screenings, including regular mammograms. We also emphasize the importance of breast self-examinations as a proactive approach to early detection.

Funds support cancer patients by connecting them with local resources at Avera Medical Group Brookings and Brookings Health System, ensuring they have access to the care and information they need.

We collaborate with local groups to raise awareness and funds through community events and fundraisers, working together to promote cancer prevention and support those undergoing treatment.

As part of this generous partnership, the nursery at the New Beginnings Birth Center has been dedicated as the Isaac Scot Nursery in honor of Isaac Scot.

Every child born in the New Beginnings Birth Center receives a sleep sack, ensuring a safe sleep environment and reducing the risk of sleep-related incidents.

Parents are also provided with essential education on safe sleep practices, ensuring they are well-prepared to care for their newborns at home.
