Brookings Health Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospital for Seventh Time

Brookings Health System was again named a Top 20 Rural Community Hospital in the United States by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). The health system scored in the top one percent among peer rural and community hospitals across the nation on the winter 2024 Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, the tool used to recognize the Top 20.

Brookings Health a Four-Year Champion of Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals

Brookings Health System has been recognized as a four-year champion to Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list can currently be viewed on Newsweek’s website.

TeBeest Recertified as Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplain

The Reverend Gregg TeBeest, chaplain at Brookings Health System, was recently recertified with the Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplains (APBCC) credential from the Spiritual Care Association. TeBeest was one of the first in the nation to receive the credential in 2018.
