New Beginnings Baby Café Call-In

New Beginnings Baby Café is a FREE service from Brookings Health System and supports breastfeeding mothers in every aspect of nursing, from starting to weaning and every variation in between.

Each session is facilitated by two registered nurses who are also lactation experts. All pregnant and breastfeeding moms are welcome to call-in during session times.

Safe@Home Class Prepares Children to Stay Alone at Home

Brookings Health System will again offer Safe@Home by SafeSitter®, a program designed for students in grades 4 to 6 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. The 90-minute class will be held on Tuesday, May 21 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday, June 4 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Both sessions will be taught inside the Ambulance Station and Education Center.
