  • Fall 2017

The days of summer are behind us and we are now entering my favorite time of the year—hunting season! We had an amazing summer at The Neighborhoods and our residents enjoyed every bit of it. Our large group outings continue to be a big hit, and we are always trying to find new things for our residents to enjoy. Thanks to all who took part in our annual picnic; we had outstanding food and the weather was fantastic. A big thank-you to First Bank and Trust for donating their tent that evening.

With fall weather closing in on us I just want to remind everyone to please label clothing when you bring it in. Our team does a good job at labeling clothing upon admission, but sometimes family members bring in clothes throughout the year and they don’t get labeled. When this happens, it is hard for the staff to return the clothing to the right person after it gets washed. It might be a good time to go through closets and change out the summer attire with fall/winter clothing.

I wanted to update everyone on our Satisfaction Scores that came back in late July. We received a 94% Overall Satisfaction Rating, which is a great testament to the high quality of care that our team delivers on a daily basis. I appreciate all who took the time to fill out the survey and write down your comments. We will survey again in December with reminder notifications being sent out ahead of time.

God Bless,
