Anderson Appointed to Brookings Health System Board of Trustees

Sheila Anderson of Brookings was recently appointed to Brookings Health System’s Board of Trustees. She fills a recently vacated county-appointed position.

Anderson has worked at Daktronics, Inc. since 2002 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2012. A native of Canby, Minn., she and her husband, Steve, and daughters Courtney and Ashley moved to Brookings in 2001.

"Brookings Health System is an important part of the Brookings area community,” said Anderson. “I believe our community needs to continue investments in infrastructure and services to maintain and improve Brookings’ attractiveness to current and potential citizens. As a mother, I understand the importance of having high-quality, local health care to serve area families.”

In addition to her new role on the board of trustees, Anderson serves as the treasurer for Brookings Fastpitch Softball Association, an instructor for Junior Achievement and a youth group leader at St. Thomas More church.
