Brookings Health System Adds Two New Board Members

Walter Wosje and Justin Sell, both of Brookings, have joined Brookings Health System’s Board of Trustees.

Wosje is the retired CEO and general manager of Michigan Milk Producers and has served on several boards, including the National Council of Farm Cooperatives, the National Milk Producers Federation, the American Dairy Products Institute, and the Michigan FFA Advisory Board. He was born and raised on the family farm near Volga, and he and his wife, Yvonne, returned to Brookings upon retirement. Wosje replaces the spot vacated by former Chair Rob Jones. His term expires Jan. 1, 2015.

Justin Sell is the current director of athletics at South Dakota State University. He has 12 years of community volunteer service experience. In Brookings, Sell has served on the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention Bureau board and as the vice president of Friends of Baseball. He also is involved with Connect 2140 and assists with the tourism bureau. In addition, Sell recently served on Brookings Health System’s CEO search committee. Sell fills the position vacated by Teresa McKnight; his term expires Jan. 1, 2013.
