COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center Set for Feb. 25

Available to County Residents Age 70+

The Brookings County Pandemic Planning and Coordination Committee (PPCC) will hold a COVID-19 community vaccination center, also referred to as a point of dispensing (POD), on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Swiftel Center.

Following the South Dakota Department of Health’s vaccination plan, the community vaccination center will serve Brookings County residents age 70 and older. Limited vaccine doses will be available. Recipients must bring a valid ID and a completed vaccine administration form at the time of their appointment. Recipients must also commit to receiving a second dose on Mar. 25.
