Dakota Vascular to See Patients at Brookings Health’s Outreach Clinic

Dr. Angelo Santos, M.D., of Dakota Vascular will begin seeing patients at Brookings Health System’s outreach clinic. He will be available to see patients the fourth Monday of each month starting on Mar. 27.
As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Santos treats and cares for patients with aneurysms, blocked blood vessels, carotid artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, excessive sweating, poor circulation and varicose veins. Services he provides includes minimally invasive procedures, such as surgical repair, wound healing and treatment for complex vascular disease.
Dr. Santos received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. He performed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He performed a fellowship in critical care at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery, vascular surgery and surgical critical care.
