Ellsworth Hired as HR Director at Brookings Health

Lacey Ellsworth was recently hired as the new human resources director at Brookings Health System.
In this role Ellsworth will assure the development and delivery of effective human resources policies, programs and systems that support the recruitment and retention of a qualified workforce. She will oversee recruitment and selection of new hires, training and development of staff, employee relations, compensation and benefits. She is also responsible for oversight of gift shop operations and Brookings Health System’s volunteer program.
Ellsworth has over 15 years of healthcare experience plus two years of human resource experience. She most recently served as a senior HR generalist at Larson Manufacturing in Brookings.
Ellsworth is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and holds a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential. She earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Ellsworth is currently finishing her master’s in administration from the University of South Dakota with specializations in human resource management and organizational leadership.
