Brookings Health System Foundation and Medary Acres Greenhouse have teamed together to create a Flower Fundraiser benefiting the mission of local health care.

Starting today until April 26, individuals may pre-order a hanging flower basket ($25), deluxe patio pot ($50) or special flower tin ($15). Individuals will receive a confirmation receipt with details on how to pick up their order from Medary Acres through the month of May.

“Flowers always make a great Mother’s Day gift,” said Lynn Darnall, owner of Medary Acres who also serves on Brookings Health System’s board of trustees. “Flowers are also a great way to spread cheer and kindness with one another. Medary Acres partnered with Brookings Health System Foundation to create the Flower Fundraiser as a great way for community members to show kindness to friends and neighbors they’ve missed during this past year of pandemic while also helping out the medical professionals we’ve been blessed to have care for us.”

Medary Ares will provide a variety of flowers and colors to choose from. A portion of the proceeds from all sales will go toward Brookings Health System Foundation. Orders may be placed by calling the Foundation at (605) 696-8855.
