  • April 07, 2025

Brookings Health System is currently accepting applications for newly graduating laboratory and nursing students interested in the Inspiring Health Sponsorship Program.

The Inspiring Health Sponsorship Program provides financial resources for students who commit to a professional career at Brookings Health System. The program provides a lump sum payment or payments to selected candidates in exchange for a three-year work commitment to the health system. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited health occupation program and in good academic standing. They must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Candidates interested in the laboratory sponsorship should be pursuing either an associate’s degree in applied science as a medical laboratory technician or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences. The selected applicant will commit to working in Brookings Health’s state-of-the-art, CLIA-certified laboratory where they will hone a variety of skills, including microbiology and blood banking.

Nursing students interested in the registered nurse sponsorship program should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. The selected applicant will commit to working in Brookings Hospital’s inpatient care unit, serving alongside fellow nurses, hospitalists, pharmacists, therapists and other healthcare professionals to care for inpatients.
