Meyer Joins Brookings Health System Board of Trustees

Orthodontist Dr. David Meyer was recently appointed to Brookings Health System’s Board of Trustees.

"I feel it is important to maintain an excellent health system in our City of Brookings to benefit our citizens and our quality of life,” said Meyer.

Meyer has practiced orthodontics in Brookings since 1986 at his clinic, Meyer Orthodontics. He holds doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry and a specialty degree in orthodontics from Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine. His community service includes serving on the Brookings Chamber of Commerce’s government affair committee, the Brookings School Board and as an interim Brookings City Councilor.

Meyer fills a county-appointed trustee position; his current term will run through December 2024.
