Licensed occupational therapist Chloe Phillips recently joined the rehabilitation team at Brookings Health System.

Phillips has a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Colorado State University and an undergraduate degree in kinesiology, the scientific study of human movement, from Mississippi State University.

Prior to working at Brookings Health System, Phillips served as a research assistant at Colorado State University, studying how yoga improves quality of life for diabetics. Her fieldwork includes a rotation at Children’s Health Center of Flagstaff Medical Center in Arizona, treating children with developmental delays, neurological diseases, cardiac diseases, orthopedic conditions and brain injuries.

As an occupational therapist at Brookings Health System, Phillips will assist patients to participate in everyday activities by redeveloping motor skills or by modifying patients’ environments to better support their occupational needs.
