Registration Open Now for Speech Camp

Registration is now open for Speech Day Camp, a fun, interactive setting for kids ages four to nine who have speech or language disorders.

“Speech Camp is geared toward kids who have difficulty speaking clearly, expressing their thoughts and engaging in positive social interactions and conversations with others,” **said** Speech-Language Pathologist Jennifer Klinkhammer. “It’s perfect opportunity to refresh children’s skills before heading back to school.”

The day camp is structured to help children develop these skills with evidence-based therapy provided by a speech-language pathologist. Education and ideas for caregivers are also provided to implement at home.

Speech Camp runs July 29, July 30, Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 from 9 to 11 a.m. each day at Brookings Health System.

Cost for the camp is $175 per child; spots are limited to eight children. Registration deadline is Friday, July 19. To register online, please visit brookingshealth.org/SpeechCamp.
