Sanford Pulmonary Dr. Scott Helberg Seeing Patients at Brookings Health’s Outreach Clinic

Brookings Health System proudly welcomes Dr. Scott Helberg to the outreach clinic. Dr. Helberg will begin seeing patients Tuesday, May 22 and will be available on a monthly basis thereafter.

As a pulmonologist, Dr. Helberg specializes in diagnosing and treating respiratory tract and lung diseases. He can help patients manage conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis and emphysema as well as sleep disorders. His areas of expertise include pulmonary hypertension and lung cancer.

Dr. Helberg completed his residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Sanford School of Medicine of the University of South Dakota. Dr. Helberg is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine: Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
