Steve Lindemann Selected as New Chief Financial Officer at Brookings Health System

Steve Lindemann was recently selected by Brookings Health System as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He started his new role at the health system this week.

As CFO, Lindemann is responsible for the development and maintenance of accurate financial information for the general ledger and financial statements. He is also responsible for establishing, updating and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and records necessary to meet the goals of Brookings Health System.

Lindemann is a native of Eureka, S.D., and holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of South Dakota. He also is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Lindemann has over 25 years of professional experience in health care finance. He most recently was the director of finance and accountable care organization director for UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City. He also spent several years working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota in various financial positions.
