Summer Therapy Day Camp Spots Available

Summer provides the opportunity for children to focus on expanding their skills and getting involved in new activities. This summer, Brookings Health System offers the opportunity for kids to work on improving their communication and occupation-based skills at the Summer Therapy Day Camp this August.

The Summer Therapy Day Camp is a fun, theme-based program that allows children to improve a variety of skills, including speech and language skills, fine motor skills and sensory processing skills. The camp is structured to help children develop their communication and occupation based skills with evidence-based therapy. A Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapy Assistant will facilitate the camp.

The program welcomes kids between the ages of six and eight, with a maximum of eight spots available. Summer Therapy Day Camp will run from Aug. 5 through Aug. 21 every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at Brookings Health System’s hospital.
