Brookings Health has invested in a new Philips EPIQ CVx cardiovascular ultrasound system, the same system preferred by regional cardiologists to visualize the heart’s anatomy. The new system, which is designed specifically to diagnose heart disease, allows Brookings Health’s radiology department to take photorealistic echocardiograms, moving ultrasounds that show the heart’s structure and function.
Warne Joins Brookings Health System Foundation Board
Joshua Warne was elected to the Brookings Health System Foundation board of trustees at the December 2024 board meeting. He will serve a two-year term through December 2026.
“Every Sole Deserves a Sock” Drive to Benefit Salvation Army of Brookings

August “Gus” Graham McCuen, the son of Meredith and LaMonte McCuen of Brookings, was born at 1:55 a.m. on Jan. 1, making him the first baby of the New Year at Brookings Health System. He weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. and measured 20.75 inches long.
