The doc was unsure about my surgery and called the surgeon and she said I was ok although I was in pain. I'm not one to ask for help unless it's needed. I went there feeling the same way as I left. The doc never explained my test results, I had to wait. My primary and my surgeon would tell me I needed to see the other one. Didn't get help for a couple days.

With out really knowing who I was they treated me like a normal patient with the upmost care and I really appreciated that. I really appreciate the care the staff gave me and my husband asking if we needed anything in between tests and asking if my husband was comfortable as it was the middle of the night and he too was trying to get some rest in between tests. Appreciate everyone on staff that night that took care of us.

The Brookings Health System did a great job. I came in with a heart attack for a possible heart attack. Everything was very efficient, very thorough, and they would not let me leave until they got answers from tests, which I really appreciated. And they followed all the steps very well and got me to Avera Heart Hospital in a very quick manner. I really appreciate all of them.

I was having a horrible vomiting bout and had to go to the ER in the morning, about 3 a.m. and everyone who went to me that evening was incredibly nice and caring. You know, when they brought my blankets, they tucked me in. It was a great experience. Great bedside manner from everybody, very informative, listened to everything that I had to say, helped me out great.

Hi, I just wanted to say that we received phenomenal care. The doctor was really good, very informative, very knowledgeable, kind. Same with the nurse and the nurse's aid. I don't go to Brookings a lot because I work in the ER. I usually use R, but I just want to say that I was very impressed. I've always had good visits there when I have pain. It's been very many and I hope I don't have more, but just want to say that I had wonderful care.

It was the worst experience I've felt in my whole life. I was given an IV to lower my blood pressure that dropped it drastically. The pressure on my chest was unbareable. I was transported to Sioux Falls to help me get through what the ER did to me. I pray that I will not return to ER due to the experience I went through.

Yes, I wasted about an hour and a half of them trying to find veins to take blood. They find me, find me. Got a lady and we killed a lot of time. I figured, that was the only thing real good. I think I got shot up about eight or nine times before this one lady come in and found it right away. Thanks.

I can't remember the name of the doctor who took care of me, but whoever I saw in the emergency room, I've seen him twice, both in the emergency room and he's treated me very well both times. He's a very good doctor and made the visit very easy and made me feel better in no time and I was able to get out of there and I really appreciate it.
