We thoroughly appreciated our PA, I think he was, Jason was his name. He was very good, very kind, knowledgeable, and let us know what was going on all the time. Also, the gal at the front desk that checked us in was very helpful and kind.

When I arrived there, my body felt very numb, but they took good care of me. They tried to make things as easy as possible for me, but then they transferred me here. And honestly, since my body was so numb, I'm not so much in pain anymore. They did take care of me; I felt they took good care of me.

The staff was caring and professional. My only complaint is that the room was freezing cold.

Brookings Emergency Department, I would enjoy going anytime. I know that I would get the quality service that I need.

I went in with a lot of pain and discomfort beyond my, I could bear. So that's why I went to the emergency room. They were busy. I did have to wait, but they did tell me they were busy and I was kind of disappointed in that. And I know, understand that they're busy too. Anyway, I just want to say and commend Nurse Heather and Dr. Jason. They did an unbelievable job. They're fantastic. I would 100% recommend the emergency room and their care. They were so caring, knowledgeable, and did get back with me, let me know what's going on. I ended up having the best experience I could have. And again, Nurse Heather was so awesome and Jason.

My experience was excellent. I appreciated that they were really trying to discover what was causing my problems. They tried to keep me comfortable while they were trying to find answers. My husband and I left with a plan of how work with a severe stomach bug. Thank You!

Our care was really good. When my son broke his collarbone, they got him in right away. They took really good care of him and got his pain under control. And we appreciated the great staff there.

I just wanted to let you guys know that we were very impressed with the emergency room. We really enjoyed our doctor and our nurse. The only thing that I would comment on is whoever came in to verify our paperwork. We really didn't like her very much. She came in. She verified it. She didn't really talk about anything. It just seemed like it was just another thing that she was checking off and a little bit slightly annoyed that she was doing it. Did I catch her name? No. Did it really affect her visit? Not really. It was just something that was like, oh, well, it was a little rude, but whatever. It is what it is on a Sunday, I guess. Anyways, that was it. But otherwise, like, really loved our doctor, really loved our nurse. Everything was super explained very well, very patient with our son, even though he's one. So anyways, you guys have a good day. Bye-bye.

Everyone was very friendly and qualified to treat me!

Everyone I came in contact with was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Even though I was in sever pain, I felt very confident that I was well taken care of.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They took care of my every need that I had, answered all my questions that I had, and were very attentive. They did an awesome job.

I did receive treatment. They did drain my elbow, but the swelling is still here and it's been almost a week. I am supposed to follow up in two weeks. We'll see what happens in two weeks. I've been met.

When we got there, they said that we'd be sent home with a lot of stuff. We never got anything on the way home.

Every aspect of my visits to the ER was fantastic, from the entry coming in, to the doctors, to the x-ray tech, to the nurses. It was an awesome experience if I had to be in an ER. So it was perfect. Thanks for your good work.

When I first entered the emergency room, patients weren't being assessed accordingly. Once I got back to the doctor and the nurses, I was transported to Sioux Falls really quickly.

Yes, I was so fortunate with the trouble I had that I was able to get the help I needed because I was rather distressed. And like I said, I was very fortunate that I was able to go to the Brookings Emergency and have them help me. Thank you.

I thought I was so well taken care of, answered all my questions. I have nothing but good to say about the Brookings Hospital. So thank you very much and keep up the good work.

The hospital staff did wonderful, but the ambulance rode like a lumber wagon.

I don't know, you guys were amazing. The nurses were amazing. The doctor was great. I had no problems. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes, I think. You guys don't change a thing. Keep up the good work.

Honestly, I have very little memories of being in the ER. I answered the questions as best I could, but my husband was very happy with the treatment that I got. He thought you guys did a great job. That's all I need to say. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the Brookings Emergency Department. The people that admitted me, the nurses, Heidi did an outstanding job, and the doctor that sewed up my stitches, very informative. It was just a pleasant experience when you need to be sewed up. I would recommend anyone who is bleeding to go to your facility. Thank you.

As busy as they were, they kept in touch with me the whole time I was there. They were very conscientious about their responsibilities and I appreciate it very much.

Dr. Jason was awesome. So down-to-earth and fun to be around. He was very thorough and explained things very well.

I was so impressed with the care I received in the ER. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, & very thorough. They administered a number of tests & carefully explained every step. It was complicated & they encouraged me to return if I continued to have difficulty, so I did end up returning 2 days later. The doctor was kind & welcoming. He validated my decision to return when I had a second incident and looked over the records & results, talked to the prior team and spent time reviewing things with me.He repeated some of the tests, added a couple, then admitted me to the hospital to monitor results. Brookings ER and hospital are a top notch team. I appreciated the time & skills of hospitalist Jared Mouw who listened carefully both times & was determined to solve the puzzle with Abbie Entringer, nurse Christie & Sarah Lipke, cnp. There were others whose names I don't recall?from the nurse who kindly walked with me when I just needed to get out of that bed before I could sleep & others who reached out in so many ways. We're lucky to have this award winning staff & facility in Brookings!

It is great to live near such an excellent facility. The staff is knowledgeable and understanding.
