Well, I was analyzed quite soon after I got there and the doctor seemed fairly knowledgeable about my condition, so I was satisfied and I was taken care of very well. Thank you, that's all. Bye bye.

I was pleased. The wait time was longer as they had another emergency shortly after I arrived. I heard them announce that one had to go to the O, but i was not told that it would be that long. But all is good.

I came into the emergency room for a cut on my thumb and was seen very quickly. The nurses were very kind and attentive to my needs. The doctor came in. He was very professional. He was very quick and he was very precise and I appreciate the Brookings Health System.

When I brought my daughter into the ER, I explained the symptoms. The doctor, Jason D., decided to do labs, IV fluids, and an abdominal X-ray. Everything came back, quote, normal. He came in and explained my mom and I voiced our concerns about not being comfortable going home with the continuous vomiting and diarrhea, the purple lips and fingers that we had experienced earlier in the day, along with her not being able to keep anything down still, even though it had been over 48 hours. He looked at us and said, quote, what do you want me to do? I have no criteria to admit her, and then continued to stare at us while we explained again our concerns. After he had left the room, I rang the call-in and asked for a patient advocate or to speak to another doctor. The nurse supervisor was then sent in, Ashley, and we voiced our concerns about my daughter and the way the doctor had reacted and treated us. She immediately took his defense, stating that he was probably frustrated. After some more conversation, she went*

We felt forgotten with a 2 hour wait. My husband was in an uncomfortable position on an examination table. The doctor when he finally came had nothing of substance to offer. Sorry we came. Wish we hadn't.

Very impressed with the care, as I've always been. Would have appreciated a little more information on activity restriction following the procedure. So, overall, very good. Just not quite sure what my restrictions should have been. So, thank you very much.

I was brought in by ambulance so didn't remember check in at all. I was evaluated in a timely manner and did get taken care of. It did take a long time to get stiches. Otherwise, all good.

It all good but it was so busy which I understand and it took quite a while to wait to get dismissed and finally went and got my papers. I don't know how you could do that any faster for anyone. It was over all great. X-ray was done fast and very pleasant girl. And I'm very glad they are there to help each and everyone of us. Thank you again.

It was a very poor experience. The doctor was only there for less than a minute and touched my foot, told me, obviously, I'm in pain. Nothing was done about the process of how I'm going to treat it or anything like that.

The doctor had no bedside manners. We ended up going to the Sioux Falls ER and they found more issues down there. So I have no results from the visit in Brooklyn, but I've had results from this visit in Sioux Falls the next day. So more thorough examinations rather than just kicking someone to the curb.

I think the doctors and nurses did a great job explaining the current path and what to do after we left if things continue to progress further negatively. I think where there is definite room for improvement is the people that come in to do the labs. She overstepped in a lot of ways, was completely rude, and probably should choose a different career path. She told me that I can leave the room and she can give my daughter shots or take the labs with me, not in there. When I said I think she's already in an irritable place since we've had zero sleep and the condition that she was currently in did not warrant additional labs being done, I think there needs to be some redirection or further education done to that employee.

Hi. So I had gone to the doctor the next day, a scheduled appointment, to talk about my injury that I was having more serious pain. And afterwards they had read my chart from the ER and it said that I was prescribed antibiotics, but I was never told about it. And the prescription, if I wasn't told, they didn't send it to the pharmacy. So I guess I was a bit confused about that. So the scheduled appointment the next day, I did get prescribed antibiotics that I'm now taking. So I thought the service there was great. Everybody seemed really nice. But just that little bit of confusion with the antibiotic. But other than that, it was a good time considering the circumstances. All right. Thank you.

It can be uncomfortable ending up in the ER but our crew took care of me as if I was a brother or sister to them. They were fast, attentive, kind and informative. They really thrive in their zone, and I was thankful for each of them that day.

I was told the ambulance was driving around trying to find the activity center. Blood work showed I was low on sodium so they gave me saline and I immediately had trouble breathing. Your Drs. and nurses do not think beyond the text book and we are not all text book people. Hope to never again have to go there.

There is nothing to improve. It was an absolute pleasure to get through your ER and be treated so kindly and so well in a timely fashion. I'm from New York. This doesn't happen in New York. So I just want to say that it really has been, it was really the best ER experience I've had between me and all my kids. The best ER experience. A wonderful hospital. Spotless. Everybody kind and friendly.

I did have one nurse that came in my room. I'm not sure who she was. She was only in there the one time. But when I said something about the blood pressure cuff burning my arm, she ignored my request for the large cuff, which they always use. And it burnt my arm and bruised it. And I said, the following nurse that I called because of that quickly and promptly changed it politely.
