Laser skin therapy is a treatment to reduce facial wrinkles and skin irregularities, such as blemishes or acne scars. It is safe, FDA-approved cosmetic enhancement procedure for sun damage, anti-aging and skin rejuvenation with no surgery. Common laser skin treatments include:

  • Photo rejuvenation to remove age spots and pigment discolorations (Photofacial)
  • Skin resurfacing to reduce wrinkles and fine lines
  • Skin tightening

How many treatments will I need?

After Photo Rejuvenation

On average, three to six treatments are recommended, scheduled at three-week intervals. While you will see some improvements with each treatment, you’ll see a gradual improvement over time. The more sun damage you have, the more likely you will need five full treatments. Each person is unique and a customized program will be created for your needs.

If you want to maintain collagen growth, you should receive treatment every 6 to 12 months.

How long will results last?

Results depend on how much sun exposure you have post-laser treatments. If you have heavy sun exposure and do not use sunscreen, the underlying issues will return. If you take care of your skin and protect it from the sun, your skin will continue to look good with annual maintenance treatments.

What areas can be treated?

Any area can be treated. Because of sunlight exposure, the most popular treatment areas include:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Forearms
  • Hands
  • Chest
