Pediatric Speech Therapy
Speech and language disorders can affect anyone at any age. Millions of children suffer from a communication or swallowing disorder. Whether it’s a difficulty in swallowing or a disorder such as stuttering, delayed speech or language, or a voice problem, a person’s ability to learn and interact with others can be affected.
Certified speech-language pathologists at the Brookings Health System are specially trained to evaluate and treat children with speech/language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. They provide educational and fun environments to help your child overcome their disorder and provide education for parents to help their children continue to progress at home.
Speech Therapy also holds group day camps in the summer to help children get a jump-start on their progression before the school year starts.
