You should see a urologist if you experience persistent symptoms affecting your urinary tract, such as blood in your urine (hematuria), a frequent or urgent need to urinate, pain or burning during urination, or ongoing lower back and pelvic pain. Men should also consult a urologist for changes in prostate health, difficulty achieving an erection, or testicular pain.
