Numerous health problems can result from not having or wearing socks, including FRICTION, FROSTBITE and NEUROPATHY. Socks are the most requested items in the winter for those less fortunate and providing socks helps prevent foot-related health complications.

Brookings Health System’s Wound Center will be collecting socks for The Salvation Army through FEBRUARY. If you are interested in donating, please drop off any clean, new socks in the donation box located at the main entrance of Brookings Hospital off 22nd Avenue.
