The Neighborhoods at Brookview is a 79-bed, non-profit skilled nursing home that offers short and long-term care to individuals of all ages. Opened in 2013, we are Medicare and Medicaid certified and licensed by the State of South Dakota Department of Health. We have years of experience caring for the elderly in our previous convalescent home, Brookview Manor, which opened in 1970.
Located along Yorkshire Drive, our skilled nursing home is in close proximity to Brookings Hospital and Brookhaven Estates. If needed, our residents can promptly receive emergency, laboratory, imaging and respiratory services from the hospital.
Our vision which continues from our old facility, Brookview Manor, is to love and care for residents, to enable them to live with dignity and respect, and to honor their lives.

Kids Invited to Trick-or-Treat at The Neighborhoods on Oct. 27
Children 12 years old and younger are invited to trick-or-treat at The Neighborhoods at Brookview skilled nursing home on Sunday, Oct. 27. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Trick-or-treating will continue through 3 p.m.
TeBeest Recertified as Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplain
The Reverend Gregg TeBeest, chaplain at Brookings Health System, was recently recertified with the Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplains (APBCC) credential from the Spiritual Care Association. TeBeest was one of the first in the nation to receive the credential in 2018.
