Arlington Medical Center has served as the Arlington community health clinic since 1989. Brookings Health System acquired the clinic in 2010 and is committed to providing high quality primary care to the Arlington community and surrounding area.

Marissia Schaefer, certified nurse practitioner, serves the regional health care needs at the Arlington Medical Center. Dr. John Jerstad, MD, serves as the supervising physician.

Flu Shot Clinics Coming to Arlington & Volga

To help vaccinate rural populations, Brookings Health System will again hold influenza vaccination clinics in Arlington and Volga.

Marissia Schaefer, CNP, Joins Arlington Medical Center

Family Nurse Practitioner Marissia Schaefer, CNP, will become the new primary care provider at Arlington Medical Center. The community is invited to meet and welcome Schaefer during an open house on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Arlington clinic.

Brookings Health System Receives Rural Health Clinic Grant

Brookings Health System has been awarded a grant through the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
