Brookings Health System Foundation, created on December 30, 2009, was formed to help build and support Brookings Health System. It is a 501(c)(3) organization, legally separate from the health system, and is governed by its own board of trustees.

Aiming to Inspire Health Raises Over $19,000 for Local Health Care

Over $19,000 was raised Brookings Health System Foundation‘s thirteenth annual Aiming to Inspire Health fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 11 at Brookings Gun Club, rural Brookings, S.D., presented by First Bank & Trust.

King Joins Brookings Health System Foundation Board

Retired Physician Assistant Rod King recently joined Brookings Health System Foundation’s board of directors. He was elected at the May 12 board meeting to serve a two-year term through December 2023.

New Beginnings Birth Center Nursery Named in Honor of Isaac Scot Hemmestad

On June 28 representatives from Brookings Health System and Team Isaac gathered to dedicate New Beginnings Birth Center’s nursery in honor of Isaac Scot Hemmestad, the son of Team Isaac founders Jason and Amber Hemmestad. The Isaac Scot Nursery recognizes the funds given to Brookings Health System Foundation by Team Isaac.
