    TeBeest Recertified as Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplain

    The Reverend Gregg TeBeest, chaplain at Brookings Health System, was recently recertified with the Advanced Practice Board Certified Chaplains (APBCC) credential from the Spiritual Care Association. TeBeest was one of the first in the nation to receive the credential in 2018.

    Brookings Health Again Sweeps Performance Leadership Award

    As part National Rural Health Day, Brookings Health System announced it has been recognized with a Performance Leadership Award in all three measured categories: quality, outcomes and patient perspective. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top quartile performance among all rural hospitals in the nation. It is Brookings Health’s seventh consecutive year receiving the recognition and the second year in a row the health system has swept all three categories.

    Nursing Students Encouraged to Apply for 2024 Clinical Enrichment Internship Program

    Brookings Health System has partnered again with the South Dakota Board of Nursing to offer a clinical enrichment program for nursing students. Applications for the paid summer internship are being accepted now until Nov. 17.
