Arlington Medical Center Expands Hours at Community Request

  • December 05, 2011

Arlington Medical Center, a division of Brookings Health System, will expand hours to see patients on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., effective Jan. 3, 2012.

"Brookings Health System has received requests from community members in Arlington to have increased availability at the medical center," said Chief Nursing Officer Tammy Hillestad. "As such, we are expanding hours on a four-month trial basis to help meet the community's needs. If things go well, we will make Tuesday hours a permanent change."

The additional day will allow for patient follow-up as needed. It will also provide time to see more patients for standard services, including primary care, women's health, pediatric care, imaging referrals, immunizations, preventive medicine, laboratory services and health education.

Patients may still schedule an appointment during the current office hours, Monday and Friday from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

To schedule an appointment at Arlington Medical Center, please call 605-983-3283.
