Greetings from Maple Ridge and Ash Boulevard

Summer has arrived! Our residents have started to enjoy getting out on the patios for afternoon snacks, visits with friends and family and to just enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. In addition, many of our residents have gone on the outings planned by our activity staff. They have taken part in eating out at a couple of different local restaurants and have also enjoyed fishing and a picnic lunch at the Nature Park. They are equally excited about some of the upcoming outings, including tours of a dairy farm and a local fire station and of course the trip to the Watertown Zoo.

The great and crafty nursing assistants we have here on Maple/Ash hosted a painting party earlier this month. The project was painting birdhouses. The residents came up with their own colors and designs so no two turned out alike. The birdhouses are proudly displayed in our courtyard so check them out!
