Hanson Hired as Nutrition & Food Services Director

Kelsey Hanson was recently hired as nutrition and food services director at Brookings Health System.  

Hanson has eight years of food service industry experience. Prior to joining Brookings Health, Hanson worked for Aramark on the South Dakota State University campus as the catering director. She holds an associates in marketing and management and hospitality and tourism from Lake Area Technical College in Watertown.

As the nutrition and food services director, Hanson will plan and direct dietary operations for Brookings Health System and manage all dietary staff. She will also oversee the preparation, storage, delivery and service of food to all patients, residents, staff patrons and ensure proper sanitation and food safety measures are followed. She will also be responsible for ordering necessary food, supplies and equipment.
