Event to include raffle, silent auction, free health screening, and free hunting information and demonstrations

Only 22 of 100 limited spots remain for hunting and firearm enthusiasts to participate in Brookings Health System Foundation’s third annual Aiming to Inspire Health sporting clays fundraiser, Aug. 23 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Medary Creek Hunt Club, rural Aurora, S.D. The event is presented by First Bank & Trust.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register soon as openings will not be guaranteed the day of the event. Registration fees are $50 per adult or $200 per four-person team. Registration fee includes a meal and ammunition. Shooters will be grouped in teams of four at the event. $100 Scheels gift cards will go to the top youth and adult individual shooters; a $50 Scheels gift card will be awarded to each member of the top team.

Proceeds from the 2012 event will help fund needed equipment for the new skilled nursing facility’s therapy gym, currently under construction.

Individuals who do not shoot but would still like to contribute may purchase raffle tickets for a pair of VIP 49cc gas scooters.
