Living With Grief Presentation Set for Nov. 16

Brookings Health System will offer the Hospice Foundation of America’s Living with Grief: When Grief is Complicated DVD presentation for free on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Mission Coffee House.

The program is designed to assist counselors and others working with bereaved persons understand, assess and assist individuals who may be experience complicated forms of bereavement. The presentation will begin with an overview of contemporary work on complicated grief and then explore interventive strategies to support grievers experiencing complicated forms of grief.

Two-and-a-half contact hours of continuing education (CE) credit may be earned. Participants must make their own arrangements for CE credit online after the program. The CE credits fee is $21.
