New Board Member Elected to Brookings Health System Foundation

Brookings Health System Foundation’s board of directors selected Tom Fishback as its newest member at the Jan. 12 meeting. Fishback fills the seat vacated by Ardelle Roberts who served the organization as a board member for the maximum four terms.
In addition, David Kneip was re-elected to his fourth and final term as a board member through December 2018. Existing board officers Kneip, Joanie Holm and Jim Winterboer were re-elected to one year terms through 2017 as Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary, respectively.
“We welcome Tom to the board,“ said Kneip. “And, we are very grateful to Ardelle for dedicating nearly two decades to Brookings Health System.” Roberts served on the hospital board before stepping in as one of the original Foundation board members in 2009.
Brookings Health System Foundation was formed to support Brookings Health System through philanthropic programs including financial assistance for those in need, support for on-going staff education, and upgrades to facilities, equipment and technology.
