I was so well cared for- from the ER to discharge. Thank you!

Most of the time they had good cares at the Brookings Hospital. Sometimes they didn?t have good cares at the Brookings Hospital. because the had more than 1 person in the room. ER - Rush me to my room because they were behind in the ER. Staff didn?t always change my oxygen up & down for me. Staff didn?t always give me my call light for help at the Brookings Hospital. One Nurse - watched the Winter Olympics with me. Next time he came into my room I would change the channel on the TV. CNA - they didn?t always changed my oxygen up & down for me. Cooks - Worst Days Feb. 15 & 16 because I didn?t get what I wanted. SDSU - Teacher & Students. They have a good nursing program at the college in Brookings, SD. Shower cap: Right way - Warm - Gentle - Hair stays under the cap. Wrong way - Cold Fast - Hair doesn?t stay under the cap. 3. One nurse talks & explains things too fast. We told her to slow down to understand her. 3. My sister told me she couldn?t understand her because she talks & explain things too fast. 7. Stool - wipe down outside. Sometimes. 8. Noise - Hallway & Room by nurse station. 12. Help to the bathroom. 12. Myself before help. 15. Medicine not take before meals. 16. They would tell me new medicine. I would ask them what new medicine I?m taking. 17. Staff would explain side effects me.

My care was very good.

Overall experience was very good. Glad I could stay in town for my procedure. I was in ER in hospital two days and back twice for two different procedures.

It was excellent!

I know the current hair style among women is to have longer hair hanging down. However, in a hospital setting it seems wrong for someone drawing blood or being close to you to be dragging their hair across your face & body. Does not seem hygienic.

It took a long time to get food trays picked up. Little things dropped on the floor were not picked up by workers that dropped it. Worker spilled powder on my table and didn't clean it up, I had to.

The care was absolutely awesome! They made me feel so special. Wonderful crew!!
