2015 New Year’s Baby Born at Brookings Health System

A baby boy was born to Brandi and Clint Overskei of Nunda, S.D., this morning, making him the first baby of the New Year born at Brookings Health System.

Brandi and Clint welcomed their new son at 6:27 a.m. He weighed eight pounds and four ounces and measured 21 inches long. Mother and baby are both doing well. The baby joins older siblings, twins Jack and Clara.

The New Year’s Baby and his parents received a variety of toys, baby products, and, gift certificates of cash and services from local businesses and organizations. Contributors to the New Year’s Baby gift basket include:
