Brookings Health System scored 98 of 100 points on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) most recent survey of Maternity Practices in Infant Nutrition and Care (mPINC). The score places Brookings Health in the top 2% of the 2,045 hospitals surveyed nationwide.
Olson Recognized as Pharmacy Technician of the Year
Sandy Olson was recognized as the South Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SDSHP) 2019 Technician of the Year. Due to the cancellation of the 2020 SDSHP annual conference, Olson will be formally recognized at the next SDSHP annual conference.
Brookings Health to Offer Safe@Home Course to Prepare Kids to Stay Home Alone
Brookings Health System will offer Safe@Home by SafeSitter®, a program designed for students in grades 4 to 6 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. The class will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. outside the Ambulance Station and Education Center.
