Starting June 30, Brookings Health System patients will have the opportunity to have their medical records at their fingertips 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Brookings Health System’s new MyHealth patient portal allows patients access to their personal health information securely online for visits after January 1, 2012.
Yorkshire Eye Clinic Purchases New OCT Imaging Device
Patients of Yorkshire Eye Clinic may notice a new piece of technology in use the next time they make a visit to the clinic. Yorkshire Eye Clinic recently purchased a new optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine, a non-contact, high resolution imaging device used to detect and manage various ocular diseases.

Brookings Health System Completes Phase 2 to Reach Baby-Friendly Accreditation
Brookings Health System has completed Phase 2, Development, of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) and has started the process for Phase 3, Dissemination. There are four phases required to become a BFHI accredited facility.
eConsult Services Now Available at Arlington Medical Center
Arlington Medical Center has partnered with Avera Health to offer eConsult telemedicine services to patients. A grant from the Department of Agriculture (USDA) allowed Arlington Medical Center to purchase the needed equipment for the services.
Community Garden Launches in Arlington
This spring a fresh garden will open its gates to the community of Arlington at the corner of Willow Avenue and Sixth Street. Arlington Medical Center will sponsor the Arlington Community Garden with the purpose of providing a sense of wellness and belonging to the public.

Eighth Annual EMS Rodeo Scheduled for May 20
